Welcome to Suffolk! Today you can check into your accommodation at 3 pm, a sustainable farm in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, that’s the perfect base for some time out. After joining up with your local host and fellow travellers for a short welcome meeting, you’ll head out for a guided walk in the local area, before returning to the farm for the evening. Tonight, you’ll enjoy wood fired pizzas and salads made with sustainable ingredients sourced from the farm itself and surrounding areas. Sit around the campfire as the sun sets and enjoy dinner and maybe a bottle of wine from a nearby vineyard or a local beer. As it gets dark, you’ll hear owls hooting and can watch the swallows swooping in the meadow nearby – a true picture of the English countryside.

This morning, you’ll be treated to a breakfast hamper of house-made fare, before heading out for a walk through the picturesque countryside to a nearby vineyard. On arrival at this award-winning vineyard you’ll be given a tour and, of course, the opportunity to taste a range of their local wines. If they take your fancy, you’ll be able to buy some bottles from the cellar door, before walking back to the farm. If the walk helped you work up at appetite, your host will be able to recommend a cosy, local pub nearby where you might like to treat yourself to a hot lunch. Enjoy a free afternoon exploring the area, or perhaps indulging in a few more pints at the pub, before heading back to the farm for an included dinner, cooked over the campfire. If the weather permits, a guided night nature walk will be on the cards after dinner, or if you’d prefer to relax, stargazing is another option. Round out the evening as any good camper would, with a supper of toasted marshmallows.

Today, you have the option to join a local brewery tour, where you’ll learn how the beer is made and get to enjoy a few tastings. You may also want to indulge in lunch at the brewery as a final meal with your group, before your Suffolk retreat comes to an end.
