Yulara – Watarrka National Park (Kings Canyon)

After being picked up from the Desert Gardens Hotel early this afternoon, make your way to Watarrka National Park, home to Kings Canyon. Along the way, check out a variety of outback scenery, including vibrant red dune country, and craggy ranges. When you reach the secluded campsite near Kings Canyon, relax and unwind under the millions of stars.

      Kings Canyon/Kata Tjuta/Uluru

The full six-kilometre Kings Canyon rim walk requires an early start. Take your time admiring the sandstone domes of the Lost City, the cliff top views along the North and South Walls and the beauty of the Garden of Eden – all while learning about the flora, fauna, history and culture of this area from your knowledgeable guide. Jump back in your private vehicle towards Uluru, passing Atila (Mt Conner) with its unique flat top and stopping for a break at Curtin Springs Station Roadhouse. Lunch is enjoyed en route. Afterwards, take in the magnificent red domes of Kata Tjuta as you enjoy a walk to Walpa Gorge. As the sun begins to disappear below the horizon, have your camera ready to capture the changing colours of Uluru. Head back to camp for a well-earned dinner, then settle in for the evening. Tomorrow, you're up early to take in the magic of sunrise at Uluru!

      Uluru – Yulara

It’s an early start this morning, but you won’t be disappointed after you witness a glorious Uluru sunrise. While the morning is fresh, enjoy an unguided walk around the base of Uluru. You will then deepen your understanding of the land and the history of Uluru as your group leader explains some local First Nations culture. It is a unique opportunity to share experiences, connect with and learn about the oldest culture on earth. Drive back to Yulara, where your tour will finish on arrival.
