      Product Description

      Highlights

Visit the stunning Kornati National Park, the biggest and most incredible collection of islands in the entire Adriatic Sea, once described by playwright George Bernard Shaw as God’s special creation made of ‘tears, stars and breath’.. Experience the Sea Organ in Zadar, an incredible marriage of acoustical engineering and historical art with a shot of local liqueur as the literal cherry on top.. While large cruise liners have to moor out at sea and commute into shore via tender, we drop anchor in the middle of port towns like Hvar or Korcula. You can hop on or off the boat as you please.. There’s nothing like diving into the aquamarine waters of the Dalmatian Coast. Weather permitting, our captain will be stopping the ship for regular swim breaks during the trip.

      Overview

Discover the beauty and style of stunning Croatia in this 15-day cruise. Venice to Opatija

Bonjourno! This Croatian adventure begins in Italy today at Marco Polo airport in Venice. Meet your group and leader here at 1pm and transfer to Opatija by road. The journey will take approximately three hours, the perfect chance to get to know your fellow travellers or simply soak up stunning scenery. Board your ship in the evening and listen to a safety briefing, then enjoy your first dinner on the Peregrine Dalmatia. Spend the evening at port, perhaps chatting over a drink on the deck.

      Krk

Depart for Krk in the morning with breakfast and get your first taste of the salty Adriatic with a dip en route. Explore glorious Krk on arrival in a guided tour, marvelling at the ancient architecture that decorates Croatia's largest island. Transfer to a nearby farm in the afternoon and graze on prsut (prosciutto) and taste some local wines. Perhaps you'll find your new favourite drop. As night falls, sit down for a rustic lamb dinner at farm's restaurant.

      Rab

The ship will depart Krk in the morning and make its way to the island of Rab, which was first declared a city in 10 BC by the Roman Emperor Augustus. Spend the journey relaxing with a book, getting some sun or simply taking in the view of the ocean. Old-world Rab is perfect to explore on foot, and you will do just that with a local guide upon arrival. Later, choose whether you would like to get your blood pumping with a guided three-hour hike around the island or take some time to discover for yourself why Rab is known as the Happy Island.

      Zadar

Bid farewell to the Happy Island and cruise to Zadar, stopping for an all-important swim along the way. The ship will dock in the late afternoon, then disembark for a guided walk around the stunning Old Town. Finish at the famous Sea Organ, a giant instrument cum artwork with underwater pipes that create music from the waves. Listen to the beautiful and somewhat haunting sounds while you watch a Zadar sunset, once described by by Alfred Hitchcock as the most beautiful in the world. Put that grand staement to the test while watching with a shot of Maraska (cherry liquer) in hand.

      Kornati National Park - Telascica

A morning departure leaves you with plenty of time to discover the Kornati National Park. Made up of 89 stunning islands, Kornati is the perfect place to while away a day cruising around the beautiful bays, swimming and soaking up some sun. Local park rangers will take you on a hike around Kornati’s stunning limestone cliff or, alternatively, there’s the option to explore the bays and inlets by sea kayak if you’d prefer. The ship will anchor in the beautiful bay of Telascica and the crew will cook up a barbecue on deck. Kick back and relax with a cold drink in hand.

      Sibenik

Cruise to Sibenik, the gateway to the Kornati Islands. The ship will make an all-important swim stop en route and you can stretch those sea legs on arrival with a walking tour, taking in sights such as the World Heritage-listed Cathedral of St James. Built in both a Gothic and Renaissance style over the 15th and 16th centuries, it is truly a spectacular piece of architecture. The afternoon and evening are yours to enjoy, so perhaps seek out some local seafood and settle in for a laid-back evening at port.

      Split

Enjoy a morning of cruising and a swim in the sparkling sea. The ship will dock in Split, Croatia’s second-largest city, which is renowned for its ancient buildings and lively culture. Take an optional guided walk around this fabulous town, then perhaps explore Diocletian’s Palace. This sprawling 4th-century complex is in the centre of Split and its white stone walls are home to bars, restaurants, shops and hotels. Join your shipmates on deck for a captain’s dinner this evening.

      Split

Your day is as clear as the waters of the Adriatic Sea, so spend your time as you wish in gorgeous Split. Maybe take a relaxing stroll along the palm-lined Riva Harbour. This evening, welcome some new travellers to your group at a dinner on board the Peregrine Dalmatia.

      Split and Krka National Park

After a leisurely breakfast on board, you have the option to join in another guided tour of Split with your tour leaders and the new group members. If you'd prefer, you can explore the laneways and squares on your own and eat lunch at your leisure in one of the Old Town's lovely al fresco eateries. In the afternoon, take a private bus transfer to Krka National Park. Board a small boat and explore via the Krka River, visiting some of the gorgeous waterfalls for which this park is renowned and stopping for a refreshing swim or two along the way. Afterwards, return by bus to Split, and enjoy dinner on the ship.

      Hvar

Set sail for the island of Hvar, known as the 'Queen of the Dalmatian Islands'. Enjoy breakfast on board and stop to swim in the waters of the Adriatic at a secluded beach close. Arrive in Stari Grad, the oldest town in Hvar, at around midday and eat lunch on the ship. Take a private transfer to a local honey farm and taste some of this sweet specialty before taking a stroll through nearby lavender fields. Continue to Hvar Town and explore this small but glamorous city on a leader-guided walk. Spend the evening in Stari Grad and experience a quieter side of Hvar. Stari Grad retains much of its ancient charm and lacks the crowds found on other parts of the island.

      Opuzen

Depart early for Opuzen, enjoying breakfast on board and a mid-morning swim stop. Cruise up the River Neretva, taking in the sight of the steep cliffs that rise on either side of the fjord while you lunch. Arrive in Opuzen in the early afternoon and hop in a small wooden boat for a leisurely cruise through the surrounding wetlands, enjoying some local snacks and music while you glide through the water. Alight at a beautiful local restaurant that looks over the water, and savour the rich flavours of Peka lamb and other local dishes. Spend the evening in Opuzen as you wish. Perhaps venture out to one of the friendly bars around the town square to meet the locals over a beer or two.

      Opuzen and Mostar

Make an early start this morning and transfer to Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina by minibus. Take a guided walk through the charming town, visiting a workshop specialising in traditional coffee sets and copper wall carvings. Enjoy some free time to explore the town and be sure to snap some photos of the iconic, arched bridge of Stari Most. Continue to Trpani, alighting and transferring to the Matusko Winery for a tour of the evergreen vineyard and a tasting. Later, enjoy a barbecue on the deck of the Peregrine Dalmatia.
