Japan, a country steeped in mythical traditions and modern wonders. This information evening uncovers the highlights of this fascinating country.

Like the history, the country is varied and diverse: from the ancient cities like Kyoto to the historically relevant city of Hiroshima and on to the beautiful Edo era city of Takayama; rural countryside back-dropped by mountains, lakes and waterfalls to the bustling futuristic city of Tokyo.

The information evening will showcase the rich variety of the country; temples, castles, shrines and holy mountains and experiencing the real Japan. Come on this magical journey and learn what Japan has to offer.

Japan has some wonderful trails and our resident Japan expert, Jess McGilvray, will be showcasing her escorted trip to Japan to walk some of their unique trails, like the Kumano Kodo Pilgrim Trail and the Nakasendo Way in November 2020.
