Iceland & the High Arctic (Svalbard, Greenland & Canada) information evening

Iceland and the High Arctic are hugely popular destinations in both the northern summer and winter. They comprise spectacular scenery, welcoming people, fascinating cultures and unique wildlife.

Witness the breadth of Iceland’s incredible natural phenomena – bubbling volcanic solfataras, rootless craters, glacial lakes and geothermal lagoons. Stunning no matter when you see it, Gullfoss is more than simply Iceland’s largest waterfall. In the sun it’s graced by a dazzling rainbow. And then in the dark of the winter, there are the ethereal northern lights, a must see phenomena for many people.

But the Arctic is more than spectacular landscapes, it is home to the hardy indigenous Inuit peoples, spread from Northern Canada to Greenland this is a unique culture that has adapted to the harsh conditions of the extreme north.

Join us as we cover some of both the voyages and land based trips that are available, learn some of the best ways to experience this region.
